We devised an intelligent system that combines incoming and outgoing logistics to help avoid empty runs.

Having our own access to the rail network allows us to take full advantage of the ecological benefits of rail transport. Our aim is to increase further today’s proportion of goods we send by rail which currently stands at 28 %. By initiating the “Altpapier Express” we made the step from road to rail.

The cut in road-borne freight reduces emissions such as noise, exhaust fumes and fine particles, and thus Perlen Papier AG demonstrates its commitment to safeguarding the environment.
